I am available to assist your student during any phase of the writing process. So many times, students feel overwhelmed about academic writing because they do not understand that writing is, indeed, a process. For every five students I've taught, at least three of them will confess to their process being turning on the computer, typing, saving, printing, and handing in that first and final draft. However, writing is as much about careful planning and meticulous editing (which happens more than once--and is about more than just using spellcheck on Microsoft Word) as it is about composing.
Please contact me before that first paper is due so that I may help draw out your student's strengths, help develop skill where there may be weakness, and empower him/her in the process. I am available to tutor seven days a week and can assist with essays in any subject area.
